We are now entering the phase of considering offering some of our tools to the general public. Some of our most recent tools are utilities which facilitate the use of statistics monitors. Through the use of RRDTool we have developed several frontends which allow almost seamless configuration with several PERL scripts to create a unique, dynamically reconfigurable, portable, universal statistics collection system. A very small example of some of the capabilities of this tool in networking support-based environments is illustrated in this example of a network latency graph. This can, and has been expanded to a tremendous degree so that this principle can cover everything from FlexLM(tm) License monitoring, Bandwidth monitoring (similar to MRTG), system up-time, CPU utilization, etc. The limitations are only what you can dream up.
